Position: Industrial Maintenance Technician (2nd/3rd Shift)
Location: London, OH
Hourly Pay Rate: $31.75 – $35.85 (based on experience and shift assignment)
Shift/Hours (Monday-Friday) : 2nd shift- 3pm-11:30pm / 3rd shift-11pm-7:30am
Kelly has immediate openings for Direct Hire Industrial Maintenance Technicians (2nd & 3rd shift). Our client, a Tier One supplier to Honda, specializing in the design and production of lighting equipment, accessories, and electronic components. The facility encompasses lighting and mold design, construction, production engineering, and supports dedicated associates across Quality, Assembly, Sales, and Customer Service departments.
Position Overview:
Seeking a highly motivated Industrial Maintenance Technician who thrives in a fast-paced environment and demonstrates a proactive, solution-oriented approach. This role offers the opportunity for a rewarding career with significant growth potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance tasks under minimal supervision
- Identify, schedule, and manage process improvements and team activities
- Apply independent judgment to solve problems and troubleshoot moderately complex issues
- Mentor junior technicians
- Communicate proactively with internal customers and prioritize departmental work
- Demonstrate solid organization, analytical, and communication skills

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of technical experience
- Ability to independently identify and repair moderately complex problems
- Thorough knowledge of departmental processes
- Demonstrated ability to perform troubleshooting and repairs with minimal guidance
- Consistent and acceptable performance standards
Working Conditions:
- General office environment: approximately 1 hour per day
- Manufacturing environment: approximately 7 hours per day
- Overnight travel may be required for training purposes
- Overtime work may be required to meet customer or internal deadlines
Hazards:
- Frequent exposure to moving or mechanical parts
- Moderate noise levels; hearing protection is required in designated areas
- Exposure to equipment, electric shock, conveyors, and chemicals
- Frequent bending (approximately 2 hours per day)
