Terminal Operator / Material Handling Specialist
Responsibilities
- Operate loaders, forklifts, and other equipment to move bulk materials.
- Load and unload cement and aggregate products from trucks, railcars, ships, and barges.
- Inspect trucks and railcars before loading.
- Complete shipping and receiving paperwork accurately.
- Maintain facility cleanliness and perform routine equipment maintenance.
- Assist customers and ensure orders are filled correctly.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and regulations.
Qualifications
- Experience in cement or related industry preferred.
- Front-End Loader certification preferred or ability to obtain certification.
- Ability to work extended hours, weekends, and elevated heights.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
- Basic computer knowledge; Microsoft Office and SAP experience preferred.
- Must meet TSA requirements and obtain a TWIC card.
