Kelly, in partnership with a reputable manufacturer, is looking for an experience Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician in Jefferson, OH.

This is a direct hire position, meaning you will be hired permanently with our client and offered their benefits and vacation time upon hire!

Details:

  • Hours: 7:00 am to 3:15 pm Monday through Friday

  • Pay: $35 – $37 per hour (potentially higher based on experience)

  • Location: Jefferson, Ohio

Job Description:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring all facility and production equipment remain in a safe and operational state to meet daily production requirements. Key responsibilities include performing routine maintenance, inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing machinery, as well as completing scheduled preventative maintenance to optimize equipment efficiency. The technician will support the installation and setup of new filling and assembly machines, fabricate parts as needed, and effectively communicate equipment status with shift personnel and management.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain facility and production equipment to ensure operational readiness.

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of machinery and equipment.

  • Perform electrical troubleshooting on manufacturing equipment.

  • Complete scheduled preventative maintenance to maintain equipment efficiency.

  • Assist with installation and setup of new machines.

  • Communicate equipment condition and needs with production personnel, supervisors, and management.

  • Fabricate parts or components to repair or replace damaged or malfunctioning equipment.

  • Train machine operators in basic troubleshooting techniques.

  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of electro-mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Electrical and PLC troubleshooting experience.

  • Motivated, self-starter who would like to grow into a leader.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and perform well in high-paced, sometimes stressful settings.

  • Working knowledge or aptitude to learn electrical, mechanical, and electronic principles.

  • Understanding of schematics, plans, and blueprints.
