Warehouse Associate
Location: Lima, NY
- Shift: A Shift (8am – 430pm, Monday – Friday)
- Pay Rate: $18.00/hour
Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations in Lima, NY. The ideal candidate will have prior inventory management experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing and distribution environment. This role is responsible for receiving, storing, organizing, and tracking materials and products while maintaining accuracy and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive incoming shipments and verify materials against packing slips and purchase orders
- Accurately stock, organize, and label inventory within the warehouse
- Perform inventory counts, cycle counts, and inventory audits
- Use warehouse management systems (WMS) or ERP systems to track inventory movements
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer or production orders for shipment
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely
- Maintain clean and organized warehouse areas
- Assist with shipping and receiving documentation
- Report inventory discrepancies, damaged goods, or shortages to supervisors
- Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines
Required Qualifications
- Previous warehouse experience required
- Inventory control or inventory management experience required
- Ability to accurately track and maintain inventory records
- Experience using barcode scanners, inventory software, or ERP systems preferred
- Forklift certification or willingness to become certified preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Basic computer and data entry skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial warehouse environment
- Familiarity with shipping carriers and logistics processes
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Schedule
- Full-time
- Monday–Friday
- Overtime may be required based on business needs
