Warehouse Receiving Associate
Location: Lima, NY
Pay: $18.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Position Type: Temp-to-Hire
At Kelly® Professional & Industrial, we are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Receiving Associate to support operations at a growing industrial filter manufacturing facility in Lima, NY. This role is heavily focused on shipping, receiving, inventory coordination, and documentation accuracy in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive incoming materials and verify shipments against purchase orders and packing slips
- Prepare outgoing shipments and ensure products are packaged, labeled, and documented correctly
- Coordinate daily shipping activity with production, inventory, and transportation carriers
- Create and maintain shipping documentation including bills of lading (BOLs), packing slips, and customs paperwork
- Enter and maintain shipment and inventory data within ERP systems (QAD experience preferred)
- Schedule pickups and deliveries with LTL, FTL, and parcel carriers
- Apply shipping labels, barcodes, handling instructions, and shipment markings accurately
- Maintain compliance with DOT, OSHA, and company safety standards
- Assist with inventory accuracy, organization, and warehouse support as needed
Qualifications
- Previous shipping and receiving experience preferred
- Experience using ERP or warehouse management systems preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage shipping documentation accurately
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform active warehouse duties throughout the shift
- Comfortable wearing required PPE, including steel/composite toe footwear
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
