Document Control Specialist

Location: Boulder, Colorado
Duration: 6-Month Contract
Pay: $48–$58/hour + Completion Bonus
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (Onsite)

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Document Control Specialist to support data organization and documentation activities within our manufacturing and supply chain team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who enjoys working with data, Excel spreadsheets, and administrative processes.

Key Responsibilities

Data Entry & Record Management

  • Enter, update, and maintain information in spreadsheets and company databases

  • Review and organize manufacturing and supplier records

  • Collect and verify information from internal files and documents

  • Ensure data is accurate, complete, and properly formatted

  • Assist with organizing information for system updates and data migration projects

Documentation Support

  • Review Certificates of Analysis (COAs) and other supplier documents

  • Scan, organize, and maintain electronic records

  • Use software tools to extract information from documents and forms

  • Keep records organized and audit-ready

  • Track project progress and assist with status updates

Quality & Accuracy

  • Verify information such as:

    • Company names

    • Addresses

    • Part numbers

    • Purchase order numbers

    • Supplier information


  • Identify missing or incorrect information and communicate with team members to resolve issues

  • Follow established procedures to ensure data consistency and accuracy

Qualifications

  • 0–2 years of experience in data entry, administrative support, customer service, office support, or a related field

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Comfortable working with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications

  • Ability to accurately handle large amounts of information

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with data entry, document review, or record management

  • Familiarity with scanning documents or using basic document management software
