Material Handler I (Manufacturing) – Day Shift
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented, hands-on Material Handler I to join our manufacturing team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy environment and takes pride in maintaining organization, efficiency, and safety across production and warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, sort, and process cardboard and recyclable materials
- Transport recycling materials from bins to designated containers
- Load and unload pallets from trailers
- Move materials between production, warehouse, and other operational areas
- Unpack incoming materials and package production items
- Inspect materials for defects, damage, or wear
- Operate manual or electric pallet jacks safely
- Support additional tasks as assigned
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, push, and move up to 50 lbs regularly
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Comfortable working on ladders when required
Qualifications
- Previous material handling or warehouse experience preferred
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Good communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Must be flexible to start in Fremont location first.
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $20/hour
