Kelly Services is hiring on behalf of our client in Salt Lake City, UT!

Pay:
$17 per hour

Location:
Salt Lake City, UT 84123

Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM


Job Summary:
Kelly Services is seeking a detail-oriented Order Processing Specialist I to support our client’s lab operations. This position is responsible for the triage and delivery of samples to designated lab areas, ensuring accurate handling, logging, and documentation.


Key Responsibilities:

Triage:

  • Receive and sort all incoming shipments

  • Separate supplies from samples

  • Identify and flag any damaged or unopenable boxes

  • Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE

  • Carefully open shipments and ensure sample forms are complete

  • Assign priority numbers to samples per submission form and priority list

Delivery:

  • Organize and prepare samples and datapacks for delivery

  • Ensure timely delivery, especially for temperature-sensitive materials

  • Track and document deliveries

  • Deliver items to the appropriate storage location in each lab

Log In:

  • Remove samples from shipping boxes and verify against submission forms

  • Handle and package samples as required for testing and prevent damage

  • Split samples and paperwork as needed for various tests

  • Identify discrepancies and follow reporting procedures

  • Attach bar code labels

  • Complete forms and utilize required stamps

Regulatory Compliance:

  • Adhere to all relevant regulatory requirements (GMP, GLP, ISO, etc.)

  • Follow all company policies and procedures

  • Complete all required training on time

Professionalism:

  • Maintain reliable attendance

  • Follow all policies and procedures

  • Undertake additional duties as assigned

Competencies:

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to follow written instructions

  • Effective verbal and written communication

  • Legible handwriting

  • Good customer service and basic math skills

  • Ability to multi-task

Additional Requirements:

  • Background check and drug test are required prior to employment.
