Job details

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician (2nd shift) to join our team. Depending on experience and skill set, candidates may be hired at Level 1, 2, or 3. This role is critical to ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our equipment and facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble, install, maintain, and repair machinery and mechanical systems

  • Perform troubleshooting and preventative maintenance on equipment

  • Read and interpret manuals, technical documents, and instructions

  • Troubleshoot electrical systems and use electrical meters for testing

  • Maintain inspection, servicing, and testing schedules

  • Work with piping systems, pumps, motors, valves, and fittings

  • Maintain and repair gearboxes, bearings, chains, belts, pulleys, and related components

  • Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively

  • Perform basic fabrication work (Mill, Lathe, Band Saw) and welding, or be willing to learn

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas

  • Follow all safety regulations and company procedures

  • Support general building maintenance as needed

  • Operate equipment such as sit-down forklifts and boom lifts (as required)

  • Utilize computer systems including CMMS and email communication

  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments

  • Take on additional duties and projects as assigned

Qualifications

  • 1–2+ years of industrial maintenance experience or similar role

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

  • Basic electrical knowledge and experience with testing tools

  • Ability to safely operate hand and power tools

  • Strong computer skills (email, CMMS systems)

  • Experience in food manufacturing environment preferred

  • Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

  • Ability to perform basic math calculations (fractions, ratios, percentages)

  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED required
