Job Title: Machine Operator
Location: Farmersville, TX
Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour
Schedule: 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM

Leading manufacturer of industrial containers, committed to producing high-quality products that meet the stringent standards of our customers. We are currently seeking a dedicated Machine Operator to join our team and play a vital role in our manufacturing process.

Position Overview:
As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, running, and maintaining production equipment to safely manufacture and package industrial containers. You will load materials, monitor machine cycles, and ensure finished products meet our quality and safety standards.
Core Responsibilities:

  • Machine Operation: Safely start, tend, and adjust production and filling machinery according to daily work orders.

  • Setup & Changeover: Assist the lead operator in preparing machines for production runs, performing minor mechanical adjustments, and clearing jams.

  • Quality Control: Inspect the physical condition of containers, check labels, and scrap defective products to maintain quality output.

  • Material Handling: Transport raw materials, load hoppers, and stack finished goods using manual methods or warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks).

  • Record Keeping: Complete required shift paperwork, verify order completeness, and communicate equipment or material issues to incoming shifts.

  • Safety & Sanitation: Maintain a clean, orderly work area and strictly adhere to all company safety regulations and health guidelines.

Typical Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Experience: High school diploma or GED equivalent. Prior manufacturing or packaging experience is preferred.

  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long shifts, frequently lift heavy containers, bend, and reach.

  • Math & Reading Skills: Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic arithmetic to calculate measurements and product volumes.

  • Comprehension: Ability to follow written, graphic, and verbal instructions clearly and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
