Manufacturing Operator
Location: Auburn Hills, MI 
Hourly Pay Rate: $19.50 (plus 15% shift differential, overtime, and double time benefits)


Position Summary

We are seeking motivated Manufacturing Operators to join our fast-paced manufacturing team in Auburn Hills, MI. In this role, you will fulfill customer final assembly requirements and support key production operations. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assemble finished units according to customer specifications

  • Organize and coordinate tasks with teammates for efficient completion

  • Use manual and automated lifting devices safely

  • Manage and maintain spare parts inventory; order parts as needed

  • Replenish workstation parts and audit material kits for accuracy

  • Verify documentation requirements for each build

  • Report scrap and downtime, update manufacturing metrics

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S standards

  • Participate actively in team meetings and projects

  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Abide by all Environmental Health & Safety standards and company work practices

Minimum Requirements

  • Basic reading, writing, and math skills (8th grade level)

  • Basic computer skills (keyboard, mouse, Windows, opening/closing files)

  • Ability to stand for almost 100% of shift

  • Frequent walking, bending, lifting, and carrying equipment up to 50 lbs

  • Close vision for inspecting products, reading drawings, prints, and visual aids; extended monitor use

  • Safety glasses and steel-toed shoes required in designated areas

Schedule & Training

  • Standard Shift: Mon–Fri, 10:30pm–6:30am (Sat/Sun possible, OT & DT pay for Sunday shifts)

  • Training: Initial onboarding on 1st shift (approx. 8:30am–4:30pm, 2–3 days)
