Machine Operator
Location: Auburn Hills, Michigan 
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Schedule: 2:30pm–10:30pm, Monday–Friday; Overtime available Saturday and Sunday
Training Requirement: Must train on 1st shift

Position Summary:
We are seeking a Machine Operator to fulfill customer final assembly requirements at our Auburn Hills location. In this role, you will assemble finished units according to customer specifications, coordinate with team members, and operate manual and automated lifting devices—all in a safe and organized manufacturing environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assemble finished units per customer specifications

  • Organize tasks with teammates for efficient workflow

  • Operate manual and automated lifting equipment safely

  • Maintain and replenish spare parts inventory

  • Audit material kits to ensure accuracy

  • Verify proper documentation for builds

  • Report scrap and downtime; update Manufacturing Metrics

  • Maintain a clean, organized workspace (5S methodology)

  • Participate in team meetings and communicate effectively

  • Comply with Environmental Health and Safety standards

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

  • Basic reading, writing, and math skills (8th grade level)

  • Basic PC skills (Windows, keyboarding, mouse usage)

  • Ability to stand for nearly the entire shift

  • Frequently walk, bend, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs

  • Close vision required for reading prints and visual aids

  • Safety glasses and steel-toed shoes required in manufacturing and shipping areas

Work Environment:
Work is performed on the manufacturing floor with moderate noise, machinery with moving parts, and occasional exposure to dust, dirt, and chemical fumes.
