Job details

Direct hire opportunity in the Stanton, TN area for an experienced Maintenance Engineer.
Bachelor degree is required
$80,000 – 110,000k

 

Key Areas of Responsibility:
• Optimization of current production processes
• Coaching plants in continuous improvement, standardization, and lean concepts
• Assisting plants in addressing equipment down time issues
• Developing preventative / predictive Industrial maintenance practices to ensure 100% equipment uptime in high volume manufacturing
• Oversee PM programs for Battery Manufacturing equipment
• Assist in Equipment spare part management
• Providing input on new equipment design and purchase
• Supporting new model / equipment launch as required
Minimum Requirements:
• Experience:
o Ability to optimize equipment programs and troubleshoot issues to identify root cause
o Excellent communicator who can train both hourly and salary team members
o Must be a self-starter who will take ownership of projects and see them through to completion with limited supervision
o Candidate must be flexible to significant travel
• Candidate must be willing to work remotely and in-person at temporary facilities as needed during the initial plant start-up phase
• Successful candidate must be able to demonstrate leadership behaviors consisting of outstanding interpersonal, teambuilding, and communication skills
Preferred Requirements:
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Industrial or Mechanical / Automation engineering preferred. Equivalent experience accepted
• Experience: 3-5 years experience in manufacturing; stamping experience preferred
o Robot / interpress transfer (ABB / Fanuc / Gudel)
o Stamping / press equipment
o Vision experience strongly preferred (Cognex)
o PLC competency.
o Lean implementation
o AutoCAD
