Pay Rate: $21.00/hr
Shift: 8-hour shift

What’s a typical day as Production Operator? You’ll be:

  • Learning to operate various types of production equipment and performing minor adjustments to ensure quality output.

  • Reading setup sheets and routing packages to ensure parts meet dimensional requirements.

  • Conducting quality inspections as required by written procedures and completing production records.

  • Moving parts to subsequent operations and recording scrap or rework with reasons.

  • Participating in corrective action processes and team meetings to drive continuous improvement.

  • Operating hand jacks and assisting in maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

  • Have a demonstrated mechanical aptitude and proficiency in shop math (fractions, decimals, metric).

  • Can read and follow specific routing and setup instructions, as well as blueprints.

  • Are proficient in using measuring instruments such as tape measures and dial calipers.

  • Have experience with tube or sheet metal fabrication (preferred but not required).

  • Are able to stand for an 8-hour shift or longer, and can bend, twist, stoop, and lift parts as required for the work.
