Location: West Henrietta, NY

Pay: $19.00–$22.00/hour (based on experience)
Schedule

  • 1st Shift | Monday–Friday | 5:00 AM–1:30 PM or 7:00 AM–3:30 PM

Kelly® Professional & Industrial is hiring Coating Associates for a premier optics manufacturer in West Henrietta, NY. This hands-on, temp-to-hire opportunity is ideal for individuals with manufacturing experience who enjoy learning new skills, working with precision products, and being part of a collaborative production team. No optics experience is required—we’ll train the right candidate!

What You’ll Do

  • Prepare and clean optical glass substrates for coating.

  • Operate sandblasting equipment.

  • Load and unload coating machines.

  • Cut and prepare masking materials for production.

  • Assist with multiple coating processes while learning different value streams within the coating lab.

  • Maintain a clean, organized workstation and follow all safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures.

  • Follow required gowning and PPE procedures while working in a controlled manufacturing environment.

  • Support the production team to help meet quality and delivery goals.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.

  • 2+ years of manufacturing, production, assembly, or machine operation experience preferred.

  • Basic computer skills.

  • Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn new processes.

  • Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity.

  • Ability to distinguish colors and perform detailed visual inspections.

  • Comfortable performing repetitive tasks while standing or sitting for extended periods.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and meet requirements to work in a regulated manufacturing environment.
