Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $20.00/hour

Shift: 3rd Shift 11p-7a

What’s a typical day as Slitter Operator? You’ll be:

  • Setting up and operating slitting equipment, adjusting controls and hanging master rolls

  • Conducting visual inspections and quality checks on materials

  • Labeling materials, entering quality data, and pulling required samples

  • Identifying, splicing, and removing non-conforming material; placing materials on hold as needed

  • Completing production, quality, and shipping paperwork accurately

  • Preparing slit rolls for shipment per customer and quality requirements

  • Using email, intranet, and quality databases during daily tasks

  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area, reporting unsafe conditions immediately

  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and participating in training activities

  • Working overtime as needed to meet business demands
