Pay Rate: $17.61/hr

Position Overview:
The Assembly Operator I is responsible for the precise assembly of components in a manufacturing environment. This role involves the use of microscopes, small hand tools, and fixtures, while closely following work instructions and company procedures. Candidates must demonstrate teamwork, eagerness to learn, and a strong attention to detail, ensuring top-quality parts for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble components, utilizing microscopes, hand tools, and fixtures as required
- Inspect work using established quality standards and work instructions
- Conduct pull tests and measurements using calipers, gauges, or other devices
- Review products to ensure they meet print specifications
- Complete operational paperwork to maintain product traceability
- Troubleshoot and perform minor equipment repairs
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the work area
- Adhere to all company, departmental, and safety guidelines, policies, and procedures
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Read and interpret drawings to accurately perform tasks
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Minimum of 6 months’ experience in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and productivity principles
- Basic computer skills preferred
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to interpret product blueprints preferred
- Experience with measuring devices (calipers, gauges) preferred
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
- Able to move materials weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to remain stationary for extended periods (up to 75% of the shift)
- Ability to operate machinery and move between work zones
- Proficient in understanding written instructions in English
