Kelly® is hiring Machine Operator I positions for Stanley Black & Decker in Dallas, TX! If you’re dependable, safety-focused, and looking to build a career with a global manufacturing leader, we’d love to hear from you.

Pay & Schedule

1st Shift: Monday–Thursday, 4:00 AM – 2:30 PM | $16.85–$19.64/hr (based on experience)

2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday, 2:30 PM – 1:00 AM | $17.85–$19.64/hr (based on experience)

3rd Shift: Sunday 5:30pm – 5:30am / Monday – Thursday, 10:30pm – 5:30am  $21.14  
The 3rd shift begins with a 12-hour shift on Sunday (5:30 PM–5:30 AM). After that, you’ll work Monday through Thursday from 10:30 PM–5:30 AM, which are 7-hour shifts. Together, the schedule totals 40 hours per week.

What You’ll Do

  • Set up and operate production equipment

  • Read blueprints, routers, and work instructions

  • Use calipers and micrometers to inspect parts

  • Perform hourly safety and quality checks

  • Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards

  • Select abrasive belts and wheels for finishing operations

  • Keep work areas clean and organized (5S)

  • Assist other production areas as needed

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Previous manufacturing experience preferred

  • Ability to read and follow written instructions

  • Basic math skills, including fractions and decimals

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

  • Team-oriented with a willingness to learn

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, stoop, and crouch throughout the shift

  • Lift up to 10 lbs. regularly and up to 33 lbs. occasionally

  • Comfortable working around moving machinery, loud noise, and varying temperatures
