CNC Machine Operator – Stanley Black & Decker

Location: Dallas, TX – Farmers Branch/North Dallas Area
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 2:30 PM – 1:00 AM (2nd Shift)
Pay: $21.50 per hour

Job Summary

Stanley Black & Decker is seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for operating CNC equipment, performing quality inspections, and producing precision components while maintaining safety, quality, and production standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate CNC machines within the assigned production cell and adjust CNC offsets as needed.

  • Read and interpret blueprints, job orders, and work instructions to determine product specifications.

  • Load and unload materials into machine fixtures and start automatic machining cycles.

  • Perform critical gauging and inspections to ensure parts meet close-tolerance specifications.

  • Complete hourly safety, quality, and production checks.

  • Identify and report quality issues while following all safety procedures.

  • Communicate effectively with the Team Lead and follow production instructions.

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.

  • Support continuous improvement and assist with other production duties as needed.

Qualifications

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

Experience

  • Minimum of 1 year of machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and decimals.

  • Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal work instructions.

  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.

  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills

  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, and use hands throughout the shift.

  • Regularly lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift up to 33 pounds.

  • Good vision, including peripheral, color, distance, and depth perception, with the ability to adjust focus.

  • Comfortable working around moving mechanical equipment, loud noise, strong fumes, and occasional temperature changes.
