Pay & Schedule
2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday | 2:30 PM – 1:00 AM
$21.50/hour
As a CNC Machine Operator I, you will operate CNC equipment including CNC machines, lathes, milling machines, boring machines, and grinders to produce quality metal and non-metal parts. You will set up and operate machines, adjust CNC offsets, load and unload parts, perform inspections, and ensure products meet quality and safety standards.
What You’ll Do
- Operate CNC machines within the production cell
- Adjust CNC offsets as needed
- Read blueprints and job specifications
- Load and unload parts into fixtures and operate automatic machine cycles
- Perform precision gauging and inspections to ensure quality standards
- Complete hourly safety, quality, and production checks
- Identify quality issues and follow safety procedures
- Communicate with Team Leads and follow work instructions
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 1 year of CNC machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and follow detailed written and verbal instructions
- Basic math skills, including fractions and decimals
- Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Desire to learn and grow in a team environment
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, reach, bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch throughout the shift
- Ability to lift up to 10 lbs. regularly and up to 33 lbs. occasionally
- Comfortable working around moving machinery, noise, fumes, and varying temperatures
