Kelly® is hiring a CNC Machine Operator I for Stanley Black & Decker in Dallas, TX. If you have CNC machining experience and are looking for a great opportunity with a global manufacturing leader, we want to hear from you!

Pay & Schedule

2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday | 2:30 PM – 1:00 AM
$21.50/hour

As a CNC Machine Operator I, you will operate CNC equipment including CNC machines, lathes, milling machines, boring machines, and grinders to produce quality metal and non-metal parts. You will set up and operate machines, adjust CNC offsets, load and unload parts, perform inspections, and ensure products meet quality and safety standards.

What You’ll Do

  • Operate CNC machines within the production cell

  • Adjust CNC offsets as needed

  • Read blueprints and job specifications

  • Load and unload parts into fixtures and operate automatic machine cycles

  • Perform precision gauging and inspections to ensure quality standards

  • Complete hourly safety, quality, and production checks

  • Identify quality issues and follow safety procedures

  • Communicate with Team Leads and follow work instructions

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Minimum of 1 year of CNC machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Ability to read and follow detailed written and verbal instructions

  • Basic math skills, including fractions and decimals

  • Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

  • Desire to learn and grow in a team environment

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, reach, bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch throughout the shift

  • Ability to lift up to 10 lbs. regularly and up to 33 lbs. occasionally

  • Comfortable working around moving machinery, noise, fumes, and varying temperatures
