Salary range: $60,000 – $80,000 annually
Shift: M-F 8:30am – 5:00pm

What’s a typical day as Legal Administrative Assistant (Floater)? You’ll be:
- Providing general administrative support to assigned attorneys and paralegals, including drafting client correspondence, fielding client phone calls, coordinating appointments, and managing calendars.
- Performing highly technical document production, including typing, drafting, editing, redlining, converting documents from PDF to Word, scanning, assembling closing binders, and making copies.
- Proofreading and editing documents for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and format; filing documents and emails in the firm’s electronic document management system.
- Distributing correspondence via email or hard copy and maintaining files and client documentation.
- Utilizing strong communication skills to ensure clarity of instructions and completion of tasks; always maintaining a courteous and service-oriented demeanor.
- Inputting time entries, opening new client/matter numbers, conducting conflict checks, and answering telephone calls with professionalism.
- Backing up team members by providing administrative support to other attorneys, paralegals, and the reception desk as needed.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Possess 5+ years of legal administrative experience
- Have knowledge of legal terminology, basic legal procedures, and law firm document protocols
- Demonstrate superior attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Have excellent written and oral business communication skills
- Are proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
