Job Opportunity: Material Handler/Forklift Operator
Location: University Park, IL
Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm
Pay: $20/hour

Type: Contract-to-hire (potential direct hire after 3–4 months based on performance & attendance)
Kelly Services is seeking a skilled Batching Picker / Production Operator for our client in University Park, IL. We’re looking for candidates with hands-on experience in batching and picking duties who have a strong and reliable work history in food manufacturing environments.

This role is contract-to-hire, meaning talented and reliable performers have the opportunity to be hired on directly after the initial contract period. Responsibilities:

  • RF Scanner

  • Sit down forklift

  • EPJ

  • Loading/unloading

  • Picking

  • Read orders

  • Lifting 50-75 pounds

  • Attention to detail

  • Someone who shows initiative and wants to learn

Qualifications:

  • Experience in a food manufacturing environment

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

  • Ability to lift 25kg/50lbs regularly

  • Ability to stand for extended periods

  • Strong English communication skills (verbal & written)

  • Positive, hands-on, can-do attitude

  • Food warehouse experience
