Location: Johnson Creek, WI
Pay: $18.70 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
Job Type: Long-term temporary with potential temp-to-hire opportunity
Kelly® is hiring a Farm Services Assembler for a hands-on manufacturing opportunity in Johnson Creek, WI. This position involves disassembling, cleaning, testing, inspecting, and reassembling dairy equipment and components.
What You’ll Do
- Perform assembly operations by hand or through the use of automation.
- Operate an industrial dishwasher and ultrasonic parts washer to clean and disinfect products.
- Count returned products.
- Disassemble and reassemble clusters.
- Test parts and mechanisms to ensure they meet product specifications.
- Perform check-in, testing, disassembly, washing, reassembly, testing, and checkout of pulsators.
- Read sales orders and build products according to specifications.
- Track damaged parts and report them to the Supervisor.
- Deliver finished products to shipping.
- Transport products to workstations using a company-issued vehicle.
- Maintain equipment in proper working condition.
- Maintain computerized inventory records to support customer orders.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to follow assembly, disassembly, cleaning, testing, and shipping processes.
- Ability to understand and resolve common issues associated with assembled products.
- Previous assembly or dairy farm experience is preferred.
- Ability to stand for an eight-hour shift.
- Ability to use tools and controls.
- Ability to regularly lift or move up to 30 pounds.
- Ability to frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to occasionally team lift or move up to 70 pounds.
- Ability to occasionally walk, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Must provide closed-toe, slip-resistant shoes.
Additional Information
- The facility temperature may range from approximately 70°F in the winter to 110°F in the summer.
- Employees may work near moving mechanical parts.
- Employees may get dirty from grease and oil.
- Noise levels are usually moderate and may occasionally be loud.
- PPE is provided, including gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, sleeves, and aprons as needed.
