Production Operator – 1st shift

Location: Salt Lake City, UT 84116
Work Schedule: Mon to Fri / 1st Shift: 5 am to 3 pm
Pay rate: 23$ per hour
Contract: W2 under staffing supplier; with a 6-month duration (temp to hire)

Job Summary Operate, set up, and clean pharmaceutical manufacturing and packaging equipment (mixers, presses, labelers) in strict compliance with cGMP standards, batch records, and SOPs. Maintain a clean, safe work area.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.


  • Experience: Prior experience in pharmaceutical, medical device, food, or nutraceutical manufacturing strongly preferred.


  • Skills: Strong English communication (written/verbal), basic math proficiency, attention to detail, and computer literacy (MS Office, LMS, or ERP).


  • Physical Demands:

    • Must routinely lift up to 25 lbs, occasionally lift up to 50 lbs, and move over 50 lbs with assistance.


    • Ability to stand, walk, reach, and twist for extended periods.



  • Pre-Employment Screenings: Basic Background Check, 11-Panel Drug Screen + Fentanyl, and Medical Screenings (Vision, Vitals, Urine Dip, Hearing/Audiogram, Spirometry/Respirator, and 30 lb Lifting Assessment).

    Key Responsibilities


  • Equipment Operation: Set up, adjust, and operate equipment (mixers, granulators, dryers, tablet presses, blister sealers, and labelers).


  • Compliance & Batch Records: Complete required documentation accurately according to cGMP standards, SOPs, and batch instructions.


  • Sanitation & Safety: Clean and sanitize equipment, tools, and facilities; maintain a safe work environment and strictly adhere to GMP jewelry policies (only plain wedding bands permitted).


  • Process Execution: Execute manufacturing and packaging tasks safely and efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
