Packaging Operator – 1st shift (3 openings)
Location: Salt Lake City, UT 84116
Work Schedule: Mon to Fri / 1st Shift: 5 am to 3 pm
Pay rate: 23$ per hour
Contract: W2 under staffing supplier; with a 6-month duration (possible extension according to performance)
Role Summary Set up, operate, clean, and maintain drug manufacturing and packaging machinery (mixers, dryers, tablet presses, labelers) while adhering to cGMP guidelines, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and batch records.
Core Requirements & Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Experience: Experience in a fast-paced cGMP environment (pharmaceutical, medical device, nutraceutical, or food) preferred.

Skills: Strong English written/verbal skills, basic math, computer literacy (MS Office, ERP/LMS), and high attention to detail.

Physical Demands: Routinely lift 25 lbs (up to 50+ lbs with assistance); push/pull heavy materials; extended standing, bending, and reaching.

GMP Policy: Strict no-jewelry policy in production areas (only plain wedding bands with no stones permitted).

Pre-Employment Screenings: Background check, 11-Panel Drug Screen (+ Fentanyl), and comprehensive medical screenings (vision, hearing, spirometry/respirator fit, physical/lifting assessment).
