Shift: 1st Shift (6:00am-2:30pm/3:30pm), Monday-Friday
Salary: 73,000-88,000K
Annual Bonus: 7-10% based on performance
What’s a typical day as an Electro Mechanical Technician? You’ll be:
- Troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and upgrading electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on manufacturing equipment
- Maintaining and repairing electrical and electronic systems, including AC/DC drives, temperature controllers, instrumentation, HVAC systems, and CNC milling machines
- Using PLC systems to troubleshoot machine controls and network communication issues
- Reading, interpreting, designing, and updating electrical schematics for equipment repairs, upgrades, and facility projects
- Performing equipment inspections and preventive maintenance to identify worn components and potential failures
- Conducting root cause analysis on equipment failures and implementing solutions to reduce downtime
- Supporting the design, installation, and layout of electrical circuits and facility systems
- Partnering with external contractors on electrical, maintenance, construction, and facility projects
- Providing technical direction, training, and hands-on support to junior technicians
- Maintaining tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean, organized, and safe condition
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have a High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience (required)
- Possess 3–5 years of related electro-mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment (required)
- Hold a current Massachusetts State Journeyman Electrical License (required)
- Have hands-on experience troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Demonstrate intermediate knowledge of PLCs and computer-controlled manufacturing equipment
- Are knowledgeable of NEC requirements and able to read/interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation
- Can operate industrial equipment (forklifts, man lifts) and maintain required certifications
- Have strong basic to intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Windows applications)
- Are able to safely work at elevated heights and own basic electrical and maintenance tools
- Are a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations)
