Pay Rate: $32-38/hr

What’s a typical day as CNC Machinist? You’ll be:

• Programming, setting up, and operating CNC machining equipment to manufacture precision components
  

• Setting up and operating CNC milling machines using engineering drawings, part specifications, and machining programs
  

• Selecting tooling, fixtures, and machining strategies to ensure quality, efficiency, and repeatability
  

• Editing and optimizing CNC programs as needed to improve performance and product quality
  

• Performing manual machining operations on Bridgeport-style equipment when required
  

• Inspecting finished parts using precision measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and height gauges
  

• Conducting deburring, finishing, and other secondary machining operations
  

• Troubleshooting machining issues and recommending process improvements
  

• Mentoring and supporting less experienced machinists and machine operators
  

• Maintaining accurate production records and supporting quality documentation
  

• Keeping equipment and work areas clean, organized, and operating safely
  

• Following quality standards, safety procedures, and manufacturing best practices

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have a minimum of 3 years of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment (must-have)
  

• Possess experience setting up and operating CNC milling machines (must-have)
  

• Are able to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications
  

• Are experienced using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, height gauges)
  

• Demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  

• Are committed to producing high-quality work with exceptional attention to detail
  

• Can work independently and collaborate effectively with production and engineering teams
  

• Bring a strong work ethic and a commitment to continuous improvement
  

• (Preferred) Have CNC programming experience, experience with Bridgeport-style manual mills, or knowledge of Lean Manufacturing/continuous improvement principles
