Production Operator – Cable & Wire Assembly
Location: Middletown, PA
Pay Rate: $20.00 – $21.25 per hour
Available Shifts:
1st | Monday – Friday | 6:30AM – 3:00PM
2nd | Monday – Friday | 3:00PM – 11:30PM
3rd | Sunday – Thursday | 10:30PM – 7:00AM
Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Production Operator to join our manufacturing team in Middletown, PA. This hands-on position focuses on the preparation, assembly, and testing of cables, wires, and electrical components in a production environment.
The ideal candidate has previous manufacturing or assembly experience, strong attention to detail, and is comfortable working with hand tools and small components. Experience with wire cutting and stripping, crimping, cable assembly, molding, or electrical testing is highly preferred.
What You’ll Do
- Cut and strip wires and cables according to specified lengths and requirements.
- Crimp wires and electrical terminals using hand tools and/or crimping equipment.
- Prepare wires, cables, connectors, and other components for assembly.
- Assemble cable and wire components according to work instructions and specifications.
- Perform molding operations involving cables and electrical components.
- Conduct electrical testing to verify connections, functionality, and product quality.
- Inspect completed products for defects, proper connections, and overall workmanship.
- Use hand tools, measuring devices, and production equipment safely and accurately.
- Read and follow detailed work instructions, drawings, and quality procedures.
- Identify and report product defects, quality concerns, or equipment issues.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous manufacturing, production, assembly, or machine operation experience preferred.
- Experience with wire cutting and stripping is highly preferred.
- Experience crimping wires, terminals, or connectors is highly preferred.
- Cable or wire assembly experience is a strong plus.
- Electrical testing experience is a plus.
- Molding or cable molding experience is a plus.
- Strong hand dexterity and ability to work with small components.
- Comfortable using hand tools and performing detailed, repetitive work.
- Ability to read and follow written work instructions and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
