What’s a typical day as a PSS (Patient Support Specialist)? You’ll be:

  • Answering inbound and outbound calls promptly and professionally, seeking one-call resolution for patient and healthcare provider inquiries

  • Serving as the primary point of contact for inquiries, escalations, and shipment setups related to specialty pharmacy programs

  • Supporting patients, healthcare provider offices, and field teams with benefit verification, savings program access, and triage to specialty pharmacy services

  • Accurately documenting customer interactions and patient information in multiple computer systems

  • Providing outstanding concierge-level customer service, resolving complaints, and escalating complex issues as needed

  • Maintaining a thorough understanding of product offerings and company policies to ensure accurate communication with customers

  • Meeting or exceeding performance metrics, including call response times and customer satisfaction scores

  • Actively participating in team collaboration, process improvement feedback, and ongoing training

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent (required)

  • Bring a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a healthcare setting with a focus on customer service

  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for helping others

  • Are skilled at problem-solving and able to think on your feet in a fast-paced environment

  • Are proficient in customer service software, databases, and tools, with the ability to multitask across multiple systems

  • Demonstrate empathy, drive, and a commitment to exceptional service

  • Have experience reading from a phone script (preferred)

  • Are available to work shifts between 8am–8pm EST
