What’s a typical day as Manufacturing Technician? You’ll be:
- Building, cleaning, and packaging various Single-Use assemblies according to Engineering Process Records (EPR), drawings, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
- Wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and reporting all near miss and first aid events
- Following cleanroom protocols and cGMPs to maintain an ISO Class 7 environment
- Actively participating in continuous improvement processes and following change control procedures
- Escalating potential process or product deviations to prevent scrap, rework, and customer returns
- Maintaining organization, 6S, and cleanliness of work and common areas
- Assisting with inventory accuracy by properly returning unused parts and components to stock with part number and lot traceability
- Working within ISO 9001:2015 quality standards in all manufacturing areas in alignment with company quality goals
- Meeting internal manufacturing schedules to ensure on-time delivery
- Completing and signing off EPRs for each operation and finishing assemblies within the allotted time
- Instilling a “build it right the first time” mentality
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have a high school diploma or GED
- Have 0-2 years of equivalent experience in production, preferably in a cleanroom environment
- Are comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs. and performing physical tasks such as standing, walking, and bending throughout your shift
- Possess strong communication skills and enjoy working in a team environment
- Are committed to safety, quality, and following all cleanroom protocols and procedures
- Can interpret engineering drawings and have knowledge of Lean manufacturing (preferred)
- Are flexible, motivated, and able to act independently
- Are willing to wear full PPE and refrain from wearing makeup, jewelry, or perfume
